Welcome to the Medical Student Section, dedicated to inspiring leadership and camaraderie among medical students. The Section provides students with a forum for discussing pressing issues, for making policy recommendations to the House of Delegates, and for networking with peers.  Whether you are interested in health policy, mentorship connections, social networking, leadership, or community service, the Section offers these experiences and more. The Section meets annually during the Medical Association’s Annual Session to elect officers for the year and a representative to serve on the Board of Censors.  There are also opportunities statewide at least twice a year where student led noon luncheons are held where speakers chosen by the students talk to about high priority topics.  Anyone interested in receiving additional information about the this Section is encouraged to contact Meghan Martin with the Medical Association at mmartin@alamedical.org.
